Our history
Rokket Music was founded in April 2009 by Brian Allan and
Jan Weckström. Our vast & global industry network, has been no less than ten years in the making
Brian Allan (Creative Director) is a groundbreaking international musical entrepreneur and a great creative mind. As a songwriter he has written with Grammy and Oscar winning, multi-platinum selling songwriters. As a manager Brian discovered, developed and coached young singer/songwriter Holly Brook Hafferman, who recently penned Eminem worldwide No.1 hit with Rihanna, "Love The Way You Lie". As a producer he created the Global One and Poland... Why Not music projects. Brian has a personal global network of superstars, producers, songwriters and music business key players.
Jan Weckström (CEO) creates new business and profit-making opportunities. He has worked successfully in these areas in the corporate and entrepreneurial world, having founded a company prior to Rokket Music, resulting in a successful equity sale.
Jan has over ten years of management experience from several companies and countries. Prior to forming Rokket Music,
Jan was assisting Scandinavian songwriters and publishers in placing songs internationally.
Our team
Elisa Yastic (Artist & Repertoire) has been in the music business over 20 years of. She started with radio plugging and an A&R scouting. Later she assisted in managing acts like Motley Crue, Blondie, Duran Duran and Meatloaf. For eight years Elisa worked with veteran A&R Ron Fair at RCA Records and Interscope Records. She played a key role in the launching of successful careers such as Christina Aguilera, Black Eyed Peas, Keyshia Cole and Vanessa Carlton.
Andreas Spiess (Legal) of Spiess & Schumacher has expertise is copyright, entertainment, music, media and competition law. Andreas represents music industry professionals and companies worldwide. He also has strategic expertise in start-ups, seed investments, financing and refinancing of businesses.
Agata Sobocinska(Artists & Repertoire) Agata studied Music Management & Artist Development with A&R major at Buckinghamshire University in United Kingdom from 2009, however before completion of her course, Agata succeeded in winning a rare internship with Interscope Records/Cherrytree Records at Universal Music Group in Los Angeles. Agata joined the Rokket team during her summer break period in 2011 before commencement of her internship in LA and has since stayed working with both companies.
Julian Ward-Turner (Project Director) an entrepreneur who set up his first innovative & unique business concept in the UK music industry at the age of 21. Within 3 years he gained exclusive contracts with 76 organisations touring over 85 venues throughout the UK. Julian has over 10 years experience in the UK music industry and over 12 years experience in all aspects of business management, conceptual business development & commercial business management. Julian benefits from a musical background and a wonderfully creative mind.
Iga Bielawski (Project Manager) brought up in a music environment. She has co-produced musical projects for Radio Plus, including radio broadcasts. Co-organized many musical concerts, participated in the implementation of music videos. Has extensive experience in the fashion industry including styling for photo shoots.
